Royal Family News: Prince William Warns Climate Change Disaster Coming

British royal family news divulges that Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge,is speaking out a topic near and dear to his father, Prince Charles. Both men have taken an active interest in environmental protection and both have recently debuted ambitious, high profile environmental campaigns.
According to William, humans must, “fundamentally reset our relationship with nature and our trajectory as a species,” to avoid climate disaster.
Royal Family News – Prince William Is Concerned About The Environment
He was recently seen and heard in a video message played at an event for the US-based charity Conservation International. In the video Prince William said that the next decade will be, “one of our greatest ever tests.”
He went on to say that he believed the most vulnerable people around the world, “and those who have done the least to cause climate change,” would be affected by climate change the most.
Royal Family News – Prince William Has A New Environmental Initiative
William also praised those he sees as putting words into action, including millions of young people around the world who are searching for solutions to the problem.
“All of us, across all sectors of society, and in every corner of the globe, must come together to fundamentally reset our relationship with nature and our trajectory as a species,” he said.
He went on to say, “I truly believe that humans have an extraordinary capacity to set goals and strive to achieve them. The remarkable development of the Covid-19 vaccine in record time is a case in point.”

Royal Family News – The Earthshot Prize Is William’s Initiative
Last October William debuted the Earthshot Prize to encourage individuals and groups to find solutions to climate change. The prize has five goals for the next decade: protect and restore nature, fight air pollution, revive the oceans, build a waste-free world and fix the climate.
The has said, “We want to find the brightest minds and boldest ideas that will help us to achieve these Earthshots. But it will require our collective energy, determination, and optimism to get there.’
William said he hoped people around the globe regardless of background or beliefs could, “join this shared optimism for the future and conviction that change is truly possible.”
“Together, I’m confident that we can begin to heal our planet, protect nature, and improve lives for billions of people, today and for generations to come,” he said.
