Royal Family News: Prince Harry Snubbed Prince Charles’ Request For A Private Talk During His UK Visit

British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry wasn’t on his best behavior during his trip back to the UK according to one royal expert. Apparently, Harry had the audacity to reject a request for a private family chat. According to Russell Myers, Harry said no to his father Prince Charles’ request to see him.

It makes no sense why Harry would shut down an opportunity to talk to his family given his constant claims that they need to apologize to him and his wife Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex left the country without staying for his grandmother’s 95th birthday despite being there to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

Myers is the royal editor of the Daily Mirror and he stated, “Whilst he was over here, he didn’t have a chance to have a face-to-face with his father Charles. Apparently, Charles did want to make time to see him. But, Harry told him ‘Listen, I have got to go.'”

The royal expert added that Charles, along with other members of the family, wants to end the estrangement with Hollywood Harry. But it is kind of hard to do that when he has no time for them despite being in the same place at the same time.

Instead of staying to settles their differences, which Harry aired publicly during an outrageous Oprah Winfrey interview, the Duke of Sussex returned to the US.

Myers said, “It’s an interesting point because while Harry received quite a frosty reception from some members of the family, there are some that do think to squash these beef with other members of the family would the right thing to do.”

What does Myers think about Harry’s relationship with William? He said, “There was another opportunity to speak to William. But it wasn’t the right time or place at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.”

Myers told talkRADIO host Kevin O’Sullivan, “If you are over on the other side of the world, it is going to be very difficult to heal these wounds and squash these arguments,” Myers said.

“It’s going to be a very long road. I remember watching the Oprah interview and my jaw was on the floor.”

“For the people it actually involved, it will be a long road back for them.”
