When Kate Middleton was still pregnant in 2015, there was a lot of speculation on whether or not she would name her first daughter Diana, but she didn’t. Instead, William and Kate named their bouncing baby girl Princess Charlotte. You’d think that the Cambridges would have gotten first dibs on the name, but it didn’t happen.

Prince William’s Bitterness Towards The Sussexes Will Get Worse

Seeing how Prince William is basically the royal family’s gatekeeper right now, it’s without a doubt that his bitterness towards the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will get worse if they name their child Diana. Not only is there a slim chance that he and his wife Kate Middleton will even meet the tot anytime soon, but naming the child Diana will feel like a huge slap in the face, seeing how Diana’s death was just as painful for William as it was for Harry.
