Of course, this was a huge blow for someone like Queen Elizabeth, who maybe secretly realizes that the monarchy is dying faster than neglected apartment plants and could use a huge, big boost of public morale and popularity. But instead, all she got was a ‘he said, she said’ back-and-forth fight worthy of nothing more than tabloid fodder and gossip blog material.

The Queen knows that this Oprah interview is going to do significant damage and that no one is going to walk away unscathed by it. That’s why this will be the last straw for her. It won’t take very long for the Queen to show the world what the crown is really made of and strip Harry and Meghan away from their titles and what is left of their dignities. In other words, someone is about to change the locks to the palace doors.
