Royal Family news shows when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey hit the world, it was like a flood gate filled with chaos suddenly burst. While the world had been prepared for revealing things in the interview, it was by no means prepared for what it got.
People quickly rushed to pick sides; some stood with The Institution and some backed the Sussexes. The interview and its shocking revelations received widespread media and attention, to some people’s advantage and for others detriment. But the truth is that the interview was filled with obvious holes, questions that Oprah failed to ask, answers that the royals dodged answering under the guise of “it’s going to hurt the royal family.” Well, news flash, it’s going to hurt the royal family either way.
While Oprah Winfrey may not be a world class investigator, it was pretty low of her to miss obvious signs that could have spared the world a headache if she simply asked them to explain themselves, which begs the question, is the whole interview stage-managed? It’s clear that they twisted the words of the British media to strike home their point, but to whom and for what reason?
For someone who really watched the two-hour interview, red flags would begin flying at their claims of racism, not because of the disturbing news that we just learned, but the means and the way we learned it. Okay, Oprah first interviewed Meghan right? When Meghan first spoke of racism in the castle and the question of the baby’s skin color, she made it known that there were “repeated” talks about her baby’s skin color which were made in the months “when I was pregnant.”
But Harry, who she said was the one that got to hear these despicable utterings, only admitted to hearing it once, but “right at the beginning,” and “before we got married.”
You’d think that someone who’s interviewed a host of different characters would think to question them about their inconsistent accounts, but oh well.
In the interview she brought up the ‘crying incident’ from two years ago, which she has recently decided to back with “alleged” emails that she sent to the palace begging them to clarify to the media that she wasn’t the one that made Kate cry, but instead it was the other way around.
Probably she cried, no one’s calling Meghan Markle a liar on that, but it’s also possible that Kate Middleton might have cried as well. But of course Meghan wasn’t about to let that go unless she was the good “girl” of the two.
Another thing that was repeatedly irritating about the whole interview was her vindictive and blissful nature that came in rotation like two odd-pages of a book. She said that she loved the queen, her mother-in-law, and that the queen was a great person who loved her and gave her gifts, but yet she said that The Institution, or the British Royal Family, watched her as she horribly suffered. Who’s the head of the Royal Family but the queen, or is she too old to care?
When speaking about Kate Middleton, she said that Kate is a good person, and yet I guess that Kate isn’t woman enough to stand by her? Come on, was she telling two stories or one?
