Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are So Busy They Recycled Last Year’s Christmas Card

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sent out a round of Christmas thank you cards and some lucky recipients are sharing!

The card’s photograph is actually the same as their 2019 Christmas reply, and shows couple under an umbrella in Australia. A pregnant Meghan is holding an umbrella over Harry as he gives a speech.

The photo was taken during an October 2018 visit to Dubbo, Australia. That was first international tour together and they also visited New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga during that time.

Yesterday royal fan account GertsReplies posted the goods on Twitter saying the card arrived in the mail yesterday. The fan should count himself lucky. A VIP letter from one of the UK military officers Harry left behind was mailed to Harry in the US and when he was called out on never replying, he said it must have got lost in the mail!

The back of the envelope showed the couple’s usual monogram, and on the reverse was their thank you message.

The message said, “Thank you for your thoughtful message. We appreciate your kind words and the time you have taken to write to us on this special occasion.”

Next to the pic of the thank you note, GertsReplied wrote, “The Sussexes 2020 Christmas Reply arrived today! (And yes, their mail is still be handled by the Correspondence Section at Clarence House).”

For a second year in a row the royal couple’s Christmas reply has left out their very private infant son Archie.

As it turns out the 2020 message was different from the 2019 message. The Markle’s now have a two-continent spin team employing several people to help them maintain the best PR image possible.

Maybe that’s why the message this year seems more human, more personal as if the words are coming from the couple themselves.

Last year’s message read, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, thank you for the very kind message you sent for Christmas. This was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send their best wishes for Christmas, and for the New Year.”
