Royal Family News: Prince Charles More Concerned With His Dad’s Health Than Prince Harry’s Diatribe

British royal family news reveals that in the wake of Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Charles is reportedly more focused on the state of his ailing 99-year old father’s health.

The heir to the throne is said to be “deeply worried” about Prince Philip as he remains hospitalized for weeks with an infection and after a heart procedure.

Charles was no doubt aware of the interview and its possible consequences as the press leading up to the epic event was unavoidable.

But a source told the Mail on Sunday, “He is a man who feels emotions keenly and is far more concerned about the Duke of Edinburgh than whatever Oprah Winfrey is up to in California.”

The source added that the Charles, Prince of Wales, was saddened at the prospect of his disgruntled youngest son and his wife talking about the family to an international audience. As well he should have been now the laundry has been aired and in the morning after many have questions about the royals that were not there before.

The insider said that Prince Harry was still in touch with Charles but they have not talked about the contents of the interview. But in fact, during the interview, Harry said that Charles stopped taking his calls.

The insider told the paper, “They have maintained a close father and son relationship for a long time and they leave the work discussions to the men in grey suits.”

The Sunday Times reported Her Majesty will not watch the program either and is focused on her husband’s recovery as well as on national issues. Likewise, The Sunday Express reported that The Queen’s mind is, “only on duty and Philip.”

Royal Family News – The Men in the Grey Suits Tend To Business?

The interview with Oprah Winfrey aired Sunday night in the US and will air Monday night in the UK. The paper claims that Charles would not have been pleased with Harry praising the Netflix series The Crown, which drags the royals in general and this season made mincemeat of the relationship between Charles and Harry’s mom the late Princess Diana.

But Harry is now an employee of Netflix and since the partnership has not missed an opportunity to name drop his boss.

Harry said that the series provides a “rough idea” of what is like to be asked to be “putting duty and service above family and everything else.”
