Royal Family News: Palace Hires Lawyers For Meghan Markle Bullying Claims

British royal family news shows that Buckingham Palace has taken the extraordinary step of hiring an outside law firm to conduct an independent inquiry into bullying claims made against Meghan Markle.

On Sunday, March 7 Meghan and Harry sat for a blockbuster Oprah interview. True to form they dropped bombshell after bombshell in a two hour celebration of their freedom mixed with recriminations, years-old complaints and allegations of neglect against both of their families.

Prior to the tell-all palace insiders were said to be, “prepared to retaliate with fresh disclosures about the couple’s behavior if the monarchy is attacked.”

The Sunday Times now reports that the Palace has hired a third-party law firm to look into bombshell complaints that Meghan engaged in inappropriate behavior during her time living in the UK.

Jason Knauf made the complaint against Meghan in 2018. At the time he was the couple’s communications secretary. In the formal complaint he alleges that she drove two personal assistants out with bullying tactics and undermined the confidence of a third.

A royal source told The Sunday Times, “The actual worst incidences haven’t come out. There are some harrowing stories to tell.” Another palace insider said, “There’s a lot that could come out in the wash that hasn’t been told.”

Meghan’s PR team responded to the allegations this month by saying, “The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”

At the same time, her husband Prince Harry has also been accused of “hypocrisy” by friends of his father Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.

Harry complained to Oprah that he was “cut off” financially by his father, and thus was forced to make a deal with Netflix, the streamer that has been unkind to his family.

Actually, say royal insiders, Harry was not accurate since Charles gave the couple tons of money in 2020 and was financially supporting the Duke until they, “found their feet” in America.
