British royal family news reveals that Oprah Winfrey is defending her golden geese, erm, friends by coming out in favor of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s ugly torrent of verbal abuse against his family. She asserts that the thirsty couple should not have to remain “silent” despite their heated demands (backed up by lawsuits) for “privacy” and “boundaries.”

Oprah has struck rating gold by collaborating with the trash-talking pair twice now and she asserts that the couple should, “not be intruded and invaded upon.” This is the time to point out that privacy-loving Harry invited the cameras into his confidential therapy session, a scene that unfolded today in the debut of a Harry/Oprah documentary.

Oprah told Hoda Kotb on the Today show on Friday morning that the couple should be allowed to speak about their experiences. No one is denying that although Harry wants to ban the First Amendment for commoners, not himself, apparently.

“You know, I ask for privacy, and I’m talking all the time,” she said. “So I think being able to have a life that you are not intruded upon by photographers, or people flying overhead, or invading your life, is what every person wants and deserves — to not to be intruded and invaded upon. That’s what people are missing. Privacy doesn’t mean silence.”

His defense of her gold mine falls flat. First of all, Harry and Meghan have foisted themselves on the public therefore they are public figures. Second, demanding the media and commoners not look at them, yet reveling in constantly showing off on their terms is h-y-p-o-c-r-t-i-c-a-l. Last time I checked no one likes a hypocrite—there’s that thing called trust, which is destroyed when one is a hypocrite. If Oprah wants to seen as a fair-minded, impartial interviewer she might want to give Harry’s browbeaten family equal air time.

That’s not likely to happen since her vocal defense of the money-making machine came hours after the latest Oprah/Harry produced attacks on his family dropped, courtesy of their new series. In it Harry launches more cruel criticisms of his family, accusing his father Prince Charles of ruining his childhood and accusing the family of bullying him into silence. Who’s the bully now, Harry?

Harry’s latest public pity party has ignited strong backlash as social media questions why he insists on airing his grievances about his family and royal life, at the same time demanding that he and Meghan be left alone in private.
