British royal family news reveals that you can emulate the ways in which Kate Middleton and Meghan Meghan, Duchess of Sussex keep healthy and looking their best, even during lockdown. According to Roberta Fiorito, the cohost of the Royally Obsessed podcast, each has a very different fitness routine, but both are useful and have their place in an exercise scheme.
She spoke with BAZAAR.com and pointed out that while Kate prefers team sports, Meghan sticks to things that involve her alone.

Kate played competitive sports growing up and has been seen at royal engagements getting into a bit of fun competition. “We know Kate is so competitive and so outdoors-y,” says Fiorito. “She’s talked about how much she loves the outdoors, and anytime there’s a sporting event she and William can participate in, they’re super competitive.” Most recently the Duchess participated in the inaugural King’s Cup regatta in August 2019.
Fiorito says loves running and she indulges her passion on the grounds of Anmer Hall, the family’s country house in Norfolk, England. “This is something she’s probably keeping up even in the cold weather with all of the time they’ve been spending at their Norfolk home.”
Fiorito adds, “She works out every day and is also really into planking, which makes sense because her core is so in shape.”

But Kate is also keen to impart the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to her children Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2. “For her, a lot of it is setting a good example for George, Charlotte, and Louis, saying, ‘Look at how important exercise is–I do it every day,’” she says. “Kids take up habits from being led by example, and Kate shows them how a healthy lifestyle looks and feels.”
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Loves Yoga
Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex, “is obsessed with yoga and is really into the wellness and meditation side of working out,” says Fiorito. “While Kate is more rigorous in her workouts, Meghan is into more calming, meditative practices.”
Meghan has called Pilates, “hands down the best thing you could do for your body.”
Fiorito noted that in 2015 she was planning to run a marathon, and once said, “Running has always been my form of moving meditation, which I relish because it allows me to get out of my own head.”
Now Meghan needs to go nowhere to achieve fitness as her Montecito, California home has a pool, an indoor gym, and a wet and dry sauna.
