Joy-Anna Duggar brushed her family off and celebrated thanksgiving in Texas with her in-laws, the Forsyth family, ahead of her brother Josh’s child pornography trail.

The Counting On veteran and her siblings are holding their heads up and carrying on with the holidays despite their brother Josh’s looming trial for receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh, 33, is currently on house arrest while he awaits the November 30 start date for his trial. Josh was unable to see his younger siblings for the holiday as, it would seem, he needs to deal with his child pornography charges first.

Per the video clip obtained by The Sun, we can see that Joy-Anna was in great spirits for the holidays cooking in the kitchen with her Texas family and enjoying the mild Texas winter. Per the Sun, the 24-year-old Counting On star shared clips of her and her Texas in-laws preparing a delicious Thanksgiving dinner as well as adorable footage of her two kids Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1, playing with their Texas cousins.

On the Duggar side of the world a more solemn family goes through their holiday routine, dividing up the cooking duties amongst the younger members of the large family. Naturally, photos were shared on the family’s Instagram page with the caption, “Today it was all hands on deck preparing for our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow! We have some staples that we make every year, like our favorite homemade rolls! (link in bio!) Anyone else doing lots of food prep today? In the images and video we see the very large Forsyth family preparing at least two large turkeys as well as many of the traditional turkey Day side-dishes prepared throughout the country on this day.
