DOOL spoilers reveal that on February 26, Wilson made his debut as Ben, who didn’t have the last name Weston at the time. Back then, he was known as Ben Rogers. At first, Ben was a good guy, but had a lot of secrets due to being kidnapped by Jordan to protect him from Clyde Weston (James Read). Eventually, Ben turned out to be the serial killer dubbed the Necktie Killer. Ben also became obsessed with Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Kate Mansi/Marci Miller) and her baby boy.

After he was caught and arrested, Ben was sent to Bayview for long-term psychiatric care. Many fans thought that was the end of Ben forever. However, he would be brought back to the show.

DOOL Spoilers – Return And Redemption

Ben’s redemption was hard for a lot of viewers. Despite Ben being a bit of a hero these days, some still can’t get past his serial killing storyline. Of course, there are a lot of fans who love Ben, especially since he’s been paired with Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal). Ciara is actually one of the biggest reasons that Ben was able to be redeemed despite multiple triggers.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers – Robert Scott Wilson’s Contract Status

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that for now, Ben isn’t going anywhere. In May 2021, Deadline confirmed that Wilson inked a new contract with the NBC soap. Then, speaking to Soap Opera Digest magazine, head writer Ron Carlivati addressed Ben staying in Salem despite Ciara’s exit. (Even though Ciara is back now, Konefal does not have a contract). At the time, Carlivati said,

“… should Ben and Ciara go off into the sunset together to make everybody happy? Well, that’s not entirely fair to Rob, who is not leaving the show.”

DOOL Spoilers – ‘CIN’ And Devil Storyline

Fans might be worried about Ben’s future again due to Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) devil possession storyline. Ben is going to battle the devil along with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), who returns to the priesthood. Plus, the devil only needs Ciara’s baby. Ben’s done his part by getting Ciara pregnant, so Satan technically doesn’t need him anymore.

However, good usually wins over evil in soaps. “CIN” is also heavily promoted by the soap. So, it doesn’t look like Ben – or Wilson – is going to be leaving anytime soon.
