It was last Christmas Eve when Carly Cortinthos (Laura Wright) spent the whole night crying after realizing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fell off that bridge and wasn’t coming home. Christmas even lasted two weeks as Carly cried and cried and tried not to show her family her despair.
This year, Sonny is there and the Corinthos clan is together for the holidays, but it still doesn’t feel right at all. Sonny can’t help but to think about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), a woman he is trying to deny his feelings for. Plus, both of them miss Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). However, Carly misses Jason a whole lot more than Sonny does and he can feel it. They attempt to make a very merry Corinthos Christmas, but things do not work out as planned.
The Quartermaine mansion seems busier for Christmas than it did for Thanksgiving as everyone stops by Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) house for the holidays.
We’re sure to see Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) — and lots of tension between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Of course, everyone is thinking about Jason.
There’s also festivities with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that also prove to be more raucous than Thanksgiving with the Cassadine clan involved. Will the Davis girls be there with their mother, meaning all three together like last week? We can’t wait to see Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth), and Molly Lansing Davis (Hayley Pullos) together again.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is released from the hospital just in time for Christmas, but she and Brando Corbin(Johnny Wactor) won’t be bringing their baby home as planned. It was supposed to be his first Christmas before tragedy came and took him away from them. Brando is there for Sasha to take her home but she doesn’t even know where home is.
