GH Spoilers: Leo’s First Appointment, Will He Be Diagnosed Autistic?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) will soon have his first appointment with the specialist that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) mentioned to Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) in a recent episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Leo Falconeri, Olivia, And Ned Quartermaine Arrive At Dr. Newman’s Office

General Hospital viewers will see Leo, Olivia, and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) arrive at the office of the specialist. The script was leaked as a casting script, or “side” for the specialist, which in the script is named “Dr. Newman” There is also a “Nurse Myers” mentioned in the script but it doesn’t specify if they are male or female or any other information regarding actors playing them. Dr. Newman addresses Leo first, taking a wild guess that he’s Leo, to which Leo nods “yes”. Olivia also says it’s Leo.

The specialist introduces himself as Dr. Newman and also introduces Nurse Myers, who smiles and waves. Leo is asked how he’s doing today, and when he doesn’t answer, Olivia prompts him to do so. Leo shrugs and says he’s good. Then General Hospital viewers will see Dr. Newman invite Leo to come play some games and talk for a bit. Leo perks up and tells the doctor he loves games! Ned pipes up, saying he thinks that’s a yes, and Dr. Newman tells Leo to come with him.

GH Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Is Nervous About Leo Quartermaine Going Off With The Doctor By Himself

General Hospital viewers will see that Olivia is nervous about Leo going off with Dr. Newman by himself, and asks if she should go along. The doctor says to Ned and Olivia, in a kind manner, that they should wait out there and that they won’t be long. Ned tells Leo to have fun. The next part may be cut from the scene when it actually airs, but it has Olivia telling Leo that they will be right there if he needs them. Dr. Newman and Nurse Myers lead Leo to another room.

Olivia is worried and anxious and looks to Ned, saying “no big deal – right? It’s just an evaluation?” Ned tells her to come to him and he hugs her tightly. Next, in the General Hospital neurology hub on the eighth floor, in the afternoon, Leo will run up to Ned and Olivia with Dr. Newman right behind him. Ned asks, “Leo?” Leo says that was fun, and Ned and Olivia look relieved.

Next in the General Hospital script Olivia quizzes Leo, wanting to know if he had a good time with Dr. Newman. Dr. Newman tells Olivia that they had a really great talk, and Olivia asks what else happened. Dr. Newman notes Leo is there, and tells Olivia and Ned that they’ll schedule a follow up to discuss everything that happened, and that they should call his office. Ned thanks the doctor and assures him they will. General Hospital viewers know this has been a long and difficult struggle for Olivia to even consider that Leo could be on the autism spectrum, and it has been both a source of conflict between herself and Ned, and actually with herself as well.

It wasn’t until the National Geographic Photo Ark came to the Jerome Art Gallery and Leo ran off from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to look for sea life pictured in a photo he was obsessing over that Olivia was even able to accept the possibility. That was after Ned knew where to look for him after reading up on autism and how autistic children are frequently obsessed with sea animals such as octopi! They then rushed down to the pier where Leo was laying down and looking in the ocean!
