GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Has To Live With Her Decision!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is about to make a choice that will haunt her for the rest of her life. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) seems to have been poisoned while in police custody. Elizabeth found herself alone with a helpless and unconscious Peter. She took out a scalpel and now will have to decide whether to destroy Peter once and for all. Elizabeth has every reason to want Peter dead ever since her murdered her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

Elizabeth and her three young boys have suffered for months because Peter murdered their step-father. Elizabeth has been grieving now for months. It’s understandable why she would want revenge. But if Elizabeth gives in to her impulse, it’s something she will have to live with for the rest of her life. Elizabeth is a nurse and killing a man while on duty will end her career. Not to mention she will be facing jail time as well as leaving her boys without their mother! Justice certainly should come for Peter, but Elizabeth may not be the person to exact it.

GH Spoilers – But what if Peter August Destroys More Lives?

On the other hand, if Elizabeth doesn’t take action and someone else is hurt by Peter’s actions, Elizabeth may not be able to forgive herself. If Peter lives, there is no reason to believe that he won’t destroy more lives that Elizabeth might have been able to prevent. Elizabeth won’t want one more person to suffer the way that she has because of Peter.

No matter what Elizabeth does, there are no winners. Nothing that she does will bring back Franco. But those children of hers still need their mother and if Elizabeth kills Franco, she is taking away yet another parent for those boys. There are plenty of people out there who want Peter dead, and Elizabeth should just let someone else deal with Peter. There are no guarantees that he is going to survive his current hospital stay anyway. Most likely, Elizabeth will think twice about hurting Peter or will be talked down by Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

GH Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn May Stop Elizabeth Webber From Making A Huge Mistake!

Finn will likely arrive in time to stop Elizabeth. Finn hates Peter as much as Elizabeth, but he knows that taking matters into their own hands won’t solve anything. Elizabeth may resent having the choice taken from her, at least in the beginning, but in the end, she would be grateful that she is free to live her life without having Peter’s death over her head.
