GH Spoilers: Brook Lynn Gets Her Voice Back!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that it has been a long and difficult year for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Everything began to fall apart for the young Quartermaine when she overheard Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) at the Nurses Ball plotting to kidnap Wiley Corinthos (Calen & Kyler Ends). Nelle found a knife and slit Brook Lynn’s throat and left her there for dead. Brook Lynn survived, but the damage was done.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Has Always Wanted To Be A Singer!

Brook Lynn has always dreamed of becoming a professional singer. But her career had been derailed thanks to an unscrupulous producer who would only give her back ownership of her own music if she signed over all of her shares of ELQ. Brook Lynn reluctantly did as requested, but was furious when she discovered it was all a manipulation by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in order to take over ELQ.

Even though it caused a huge rift between Brook Lynn and her father, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). But at least she could perform again, which she had planned to do the night of the Nurses Ball.

GH Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Was At Death’s Door!

Brook Lynn almost died after Nelle’s attack and was taken to General Hospital to have immediate surgery. But it soon became apparent that Brook Lynn’s voice was damaged. She was left unable to sing. Wanting to get her shares back from Valentin, Brook Lynn faked a pregnancy after they had a one night stand. Valentin agreed to give Brook Lynn back her shares, but only after the baby was born. This was Brook Lynn’s motivation for helping Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) by taking Maxie’s baby and raising it herself to keep the infant far away from the baby’s true father.

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) won’t be a threat forever and Brook Lynn will have to return the little to Maxie. Brook Lynn loves that little girl just as much as if she had given birth to her, so giving her up will not be easy. But perhaps after everything she has been through, something good will finally happen for Brook Lynn. While there may be a romance in the cards between Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) perhaps her vocal chords will finally have healed enough to allow Brook Lynn to return to what she loves the most, singing!
