General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 12, 2021, reveal the fallout from what was certainly a victory for one Cassadine and likely not a victory for another.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Shot Hayden Barnes?

Now that Shawn (Sean Blakemore) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are out of jail, the real trouble begins. Shawn has been behind bars since 2015 for a crime all fans know he didn’t commit. Heck, quite a few characters also know this, including the victim of the crime.

General Hospital recaps and spoilers show Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) learned a long time ago that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is the one who hired a hitman to shoot her in the head. She lingered in a coma for months after that and then eventually married Nikolas, but that’s a whole different situation.

We believe even Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Laura (Genie Francis) have this information. Now the man who took the fall for that crime is out of prison and determined to find out who really did it. Good luck, Nikolas. Between Ava (Maura West), NuSpencer (Nicholas Chavez), and now Shawn, you’re gonna have your hands full.

Meanwhile, Nikolas’s Aunt Alexis is also free and in medical trouble as Sam (Kelly Monaco) worries about her and her osteoporosis.

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones Wants Austin Gone

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) didn’t think of the loose end tied to the doctor who delivered her baby. She thought he’d just disappear and that would be that, but no such luck. Now, Austin (Roger Howarth) has a job at General Hospital and is very interested in the Quartermaine family, especially the Michael Corinthos GH wing.

As he asks Monica (Leslie Charleson) all about that, Maxie panics and runs to Brook Lyn (Amanda Setton) to tell her they’re in major trouble.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Will Always Be Carly Corinthos

After rubbing salt in Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) wound just because she could and it apparently felt good, Carly (Laura Wright) wonders why Jason (Steve Burton) is upset with her. He knows she said something to Britt to make her tell them both off because he knows Carly. That prompts Carly to wonder if Jason wants to tell Britt the truth.

Meanwhile, Britt has decided she will live her life her way even if that means sleeping with Jax. Spoilers say Britt and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) come to an understanding. Does that mean Britt’s mom is giving up on the Jason match?
