General Hospital spoilers reveal that on the June 30 episode, there was a new face. Fans were introduced to Joey Novak, played by actor Patrick Zeller. He tried to recruit Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). As he struggled to get out of the situation, he was rescued by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). GH spoilers reveal that Spinelli was at Charlie’s Pub when suddenly, Joey invited himself to join him. Joey introduced himself and said his family knows all about Spinellii’s skills. He was asked to work for the Novak family. Spinelli tried to excuse himself and get out of the situation, but that wasn’t easy. Thankfully, Jason came in with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). He escorted Joey outside and gave him a message to deliver to his uncle.

The Novak family is one of five that run Port Charles. In fact, the Novaks issued a strike recently, which is connected to Jason and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) striking back. At first, Carly suggested a peaceful resolution. However, Jason explained that it doesn’t work that way. When someone attacks, they have to retaliate twice as hard. They can’t show any sign of weakness.

The Five Families And Marriage Storyline

They also have the issue of nobody knowing who is in charge — Jason or Carly. Even though Carly insists that the Five Families accepted her, she was given a reality check. It was only because nobody else was available as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is believed to be dead. As for Jason, he was on the run after escaping prison for a false murder charge. This branches out to Jason and Carly’s marriage storyline.

General Hospital Spoilers: Will Patrick Zeller Return?

It is not currently known if we will see more of Joey. However, we highly doubt that this is the one and only time they try to recruit Spinelli. There is a war going on and things are getting intense. So, we imagine that the octane level and drama will be stepped up a few notches. Not only could Joey appear again, but so could other members of the Novak family.

Not only are Jason and Carly having to make decisions about showing who is in charge, but there will also be more conflict. Plus, it is teased that there is a huge drug war coming up. It will impact Jason and Britt. Jason will realize that he can’t keep her safe and that’s going to be tough for him to handle, the summer preview in SOD teased. Then, there is the complication of if he marries Carly, how does that affect the characters moving forward? We will just have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us.
