The band also includes GH alum Brandon Barash (ex Johnny Zacchara) who is now on Days of our Lives as Jake Lambert and GH alum Scott Reeves (Steven Webber). Port Chuck has announced that they have an event scheduled for February 20th.
They tweeted, “6 DAYS AWAY! The countdown begins! We can’t wait! Join Steve, Bradford, Scott, and Brandon this Saturday, 2/20, for a 90min Online Concert and Q&A hang after! We’ll be singing some of our favorite love songs…but don’t worry we’ll be rocking out as well:).”
At one time it appeared that Port Chuck had broken up. The four-piece band seemed to have called it quits when Burton shared a farewell post to the group. “Looking back at what an amazing ride Port Chuck was!” he said on Instagram, with a photo of himself at the beach in a hoodie with the band’s logo. “Thank you and thanks to Bradford, Brandon, and Scott for some of the best times of my life!”
Barash added, “Nothing quite like the Chuck! Much love to all of those out there who came out and supported us.”
Port Chuck formed in 2010 and performed live across the country covering pop, rock, and country hits. Reeves was an established musician as part of the country duo Blue County, but the rest of the guys were more than capable on stage. They and their fans loved the band’s gigs but the 2019 tour dates were cancelled and then corona happened.
The great news is that the band is now performing virtually for dedicated fans. Three of the four bandmates are still on daytime and so fans who can’t afford the group’s ticket prices can always catch them on the small screen.
At the moment both Bradford and Burton are on GH, with the latter in a front burner plot involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Barash can be seen on DOOL, and he, too, is involved in a sizzling February Sweeps storyline. He has all the ladies fighting over him and he himself is fighting for a place at the DiMera board table. And Reeves and his wife Melissa Reeves (ex Jennifer Horton, DOOL) just became grandparents!
