General Hospital spoilers reveal that “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is pushed toward Port Charles. He considers visiting Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). However, when he’s recognized, Nina will have some explaining to do. As for Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright), it might be a bittersweet reunion. Both of them have changed so much… perhaps too much.

General Hospital Spoilers – Phyllis Caulfield Keeps Pushing

GH spoilers reveal that after Nina left Nixon Falls, Phyllis wondered why “Mike” didn’t go too. She knew that deep inside, “Mike” wanted to chase after Nina and suggested he do exactly that. However, he played it cool and claimed that he was perfectly content staying in Nixon Falls.

During the week of July 5, Phyllis will once again urge “Mike” to surprise Nina in Port Charles. He just might end up taking her advice. After all, Sonny has to return to PC at some point.

Right now, “Mike” has no idea that his real name is Sonny and he has a family in Port Charles. He also doesn’t know that he’s a mob boss, has friends, a wife and children. If he shows up to surprise Nina in Port Charles, she won’t be the only one to react with shock. Everyone knows who Sonny is and he will be instantly recognized. Of course, he won’t have any idea that Port Charles is his home.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Needs To Explain

General Hospital spoilers reveal that when Nina first saw “Mike” in Nixon Falls, she called Carly. Her first instinct was to tell Carly that her husband was alive. She changed her mind once Carly started snapping at her on the phone, though. It’s not an excuse for Nina to be keeping this massive secret. Since then, Nina has gone back and forth about whether to tell the truth. This will be even more pronounced as she runs into Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the cemetery. When she looks at all the people that Sonny is missing, she will know that there is an easy way to fix that.

Nina asked “Mike” once if he would want to know about his identity and past. He wasn’t that interested because he had a feeling that it wasn’t a pleasant life to go back to. Now, Sonny did have major responsibilities, stressful situations and his career was dangerous. However, it wasn’t always like that. Sonny and Carly loved each other very much. They also had a close family and they need him more than ever.

If “Mike” surprises Nina in Port Charles, she won’t have any choice but to tell him about his real identity. Even though he might not forgive her for keeping such a massive truth bomb from him, that doesn’t mean things will be easy with Carly.

Both Carly and Sonny have changed so much. They are two completely different people. Of course, Carly will want to bring Sonny home and resume their lives together. But it won’t be that easy. Whether Sonny gets his memories back or not, he is a different man and Carly is a different woman. There just might be too many changes, which could lead them to divorce.
