General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Jason Pushes For Shawn Butler’s Release, Needs Help To Keep The Organization Together

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest in Port Charles, NY Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will need an enforcer to help him run the Corinthos Organization. Jason worked very well with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). Shawn has been in prison for years for attempted murder. Now that Drew Cain (ex-Billy Miller) is presumed dead and Jason is alive and well. Is it not time for Shawn to be released?

General Hospital Spoilers – Shawn Butler Needs Help

General Hospital’s Shawn should have come up for parole by now. Shawn isn’t a murderer, he pled guilty to attempting to kill Jake Doe (ex-Billy Miller). Now that Jason is taking over for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) he needs someone he can trust to keep his back covered. Jason has been home for years and Shawn hasn’t even gotten a second thought. Is it not the time for someone to try to get Shawn out of prison and back to the real world? Jason would have been trying to help his friend by now instead of letting him stay in prison. Why is Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) not working on Shawn’s freedom?

GH Spoilers – Could Jason Morgan Pressure A Judge?

General Hospital’s Jason knows that Sonny has judges who worked with him. Shawn felt guilty enough to confess and not try to get out of prison. However, now that Jason is home, he could call in a favor and try to get Shawn released. How much trouble would it be to free the man that helped him in every way he possibly could when they worked together? Would it not be better to have a trusted friend watching his back than someone who could turn on him at any second?

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Offered To Help Before

General Hospital’s Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) offered to help Shawn in any way she could. Sam could testify that Drew is dead. Sam could certainly attest to the fact that she nor her children are threatened by Shawn. Sam could even tell the judge that Drew wanted to help Shawn to be released. Surely between the three of them, they could come up with some argument to get Shawn out of prison. Is there not some way that the man could be released on good behavior by now?

General Hospital’s Shawn has spent more time in prison for attempted murder than most people do for murder. Is it not time to recast Shawn and bring him home to the people who need him?
