General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Renault Receives Infuriating Information About His Mother

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will receive infuriating information about his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) in upcoming episodes of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Wasn’t Told That Martin Grey Had Talked To Their Mother

General Hospital viewers will remember from recent episodes that Carly Corinthos, (Laura Wright) feeling sorry for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) gave him a burner phone with a number programmed in it that goes to a matching phone that his mother has. Apparently Carly and her mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) felt it was a good idea for Florence to have a phone, and it’s likely a burner, or untraceable, phone as well. Carly and Bobbie probably each have one as well, solely for the purpose of being reachable in case Florence needs them.

General Hospital spoilers show Carly herself has not been to the Corinthos safe house where Bobbie has been taking care of Florence. Bobbie and a couple of other “discreet” nurses have been caring for her the whole time since Carly had Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hack into Mountain Landing Care Home’s computer system and arrange a transfer for Florence from that care home, which is in the state of Vermont, to Port Charles and the safe house, which he documented as a private care home.

It is not likely that Spinelli used the actual address of the safe house, he likely would have used a fictitious one. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) didn’t like the scheme when he found out , but he took “credit” for it, to protect Carly and has to admit it worked to keep Cyrus behaving himself!

GH Spoilers – Martin Grey Teamed Up With Jackie Templeton To Find His Mother

General Hospital viewers will also remember that Martin had teamed up with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) to find his and Cyrus’ mother. Other General Hospital spoilers say that they make some progress in the search, and it is likely that Jackie knows someone who can trace the cell phone tower where Martin’s calls to Florence go to. “Untraceable” is not really correct terminology for a “burner” phone, it just means that there is no phone number or account that can be traced.

However, the signal of the phone that happens when someone makes a phone call can usually be traced both ways, it’s just that a cell phone tower is found instead of an actual location, which makes things a bit more difficult. Police or other interested parties would have to likely do a lot of surveillance in the area that the cell phone tower serves, possibly even door to door until an exact location is found.

It sounds like a lot of work for Jackie and Martin to find Florence that way! Many times the phone company carrier requires a warrant to get that type of information, as well. So far, Martin has not told Cyrus anything about the phone he has or his conversations with her. That is not surprising, considering that Florence is very upset by Cyrus. She didn’t want anything to do with him at all when Cyrus, Martin and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were there at Christmas, in fact, she became very agitated and Laura took Cyrus out in the hallway! Chances are, the information that infuriates Cyrus about his mother will be that he will come across Martin and overhear a phone call he’s making to Florence, or perhaps Martin and Jackie will have to tell him that they found her location but she’d been moved again!
