General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY despite her mother’s past crimes, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was actually thrilled that not only was her mother innocent of the memory mapping schemes, but she didn’t kill Drew Cain (Billy Miller) or try to murder Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has committed her fair share of crimes in the past, but this time she was framed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Britt warned her mother not to physically harm Peter, but she is obviously relieved to have her mother back.

Leisl is quite busy right now acting as Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zomprogna) handler and trying to prove Peter’s guilt, but her ears perked up when Britt said she was having issues with Cyrus. Obrecht has been gone during Cyrus’ reign of terror in Port Charles, so once she hears about the danger Britt is in for choosing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) over Cyrus, it seems unlikely she will stay out of the situation. But is Obrecht enough of a threat to get Cyrus to back off?

GH Spoilers – Dr. Leisl O’Brecht May Have A Turned A New Leaf, But She Can Still Intimidate Cyrus Renault!

Given her history with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), Dr. Obrecht has quite a scary history on paper. She may have mostly turned over a new leaf, but she should still be able to scare Cyrus into backing off Britt should he become too threatening. Cyrus is a drug trafficker and is capable of just about anything, but Faison and Obrecht were in another league entirely. But Cyrus isn’t always rational, and may actually go after Britt harder if Obrecht makes any kind of threat.

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne will likely have to count on Jason Morgan to stay truly safe.

And the truth is, Dr. Obrecht is kind of wishy washy, to say the least. If her own goals are taking her attention, she is likely to forget Britt. The best way for Britt to keep herself safe is to trust in Jason. He won’t let anything happen to her as long as he’s kept in the loop. And it seems like both Jason and Britt are enjoying their newfound “partnership.” Perhaps not only will Jason keep Britt safe, but maybe they will find romance in the process!
