General Hospital Rumors – Carly Corinthos Gets Her Wish?

Since the day Carly (Laura Wright) met Jason (Steve Burton) in that bar in the 1990s, she has wanted him and she even got him — as her one-time lover way back when and her lifelong friend. In Carly’s mind, she is in charge of Jason and she has to approve every woman he ever dates. She spent years hating Sam (Kelly Monaco) and now she doesn’t look too thrilled with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) either.

As for Jason, he’s always been more dedicated to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and the business than anything else in his life — apparently even his own children. He has to make sure he and Carly hold onto their territory now that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is gone and Sonny is presumed dead so they are going to have a united front, right? So, how shall they do that?

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan And Carly Corinthos Till Death Do Us Part?

Social media rumors are now swirling that Jason and Carly become engaged as a cover so they can run Sonny’s business together. (Whatever that business is. We know it’s not drugs, guns, or human trafficking. And it’s definitely not coffee. So, what does Sonny deal in? Will we ever know?) This will send Britt into a tailspin because she really thought she and Jason could become something, but Carly is likely to gloat until nobody wants to ever hear her again — and then some.

Will this engagement actually lead to a wedding? If so, how will the new First Mob Couple of Port Charles act and will their plan actually work as they stave off the enemy? In the end, the marriage wouldn’t even be legal since Sonny is still alive out there in Nixon Falls, but they don’t know that. And when Sonny does eventually return with his memory intact, will Carly even want him now that she has Jason, who very clearly has been the one she has wanted all along.
