General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that it’s been a quarter of a century since the ABC sudser cast Ingo Rademacher as playboy mogul Jasper “Jax” Jacks and life in Port Charles hasn’t been the same!

Back in 1995 TPTB wanted to added a spark of life to the show and Ingo was the perfect handsome leading man to achieve that goal.

Ingo debuted on January 31, 1996. In the beginning he shared scenes with Rena Sofer’s (Quinn Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful) character Lois Cerullo. But the sparks really flew when Jax met Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil).

Brenda’s beloved Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found Jax’s presumed dead wife to break up the two and soon enough both Jax and Sonny were bereft when Brenda was killed.

Jax got back in the saddle and married Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but it was a marriage of convenience of sorts.

More conflict with Sonny came after Jax helped Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in business but romantically he ended up marrying Skye Chandler-Quartermaine (Robin Christopher). Oops, Brenda returned from the dead!

General Hospital spoilers reveal Jax went on to woo Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Courtney (Alicia Leigh-Willis), Sonny’s sister, the latter of whom he married. Sadly, she later died. But what do you know, Jax and Carly got married!
When Brenda returned to town and Carly prevented her from getting back with Sonny, Jax knew Carly still loved the mob boss not the candy boy.

But today it looks like that relationship could be about to gain traction once more.

Over time Ingo has had several hiatuses from the show. At one point he was Thorne on The Bold and the Beautiful. He even competed on Dancing With the Stars with pro dancer Kym Johnson-Herjavec and came in fifth place in Season 16. And, Ingo is a licensed lifeguard for LA County where he resides. Just recently the handsome and talented star announced that he and his wife Ehiku are expecting their third child; they have two sons together.

Today in Port Charles Jax is involved with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). But she is mad at heck at him and Carly who lied to her about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) being her daughter. Is there a Jax and Carly redo about to happen GH fans?
