EastEnders Spoilers: New Nancy Carter Return Details

Earlier this year, “EastEnders” confirmed that fans will once again see Maddy Hill as the soap’s Nancy Carter. The character, who’s the daughter of Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), has been away from the Square for nearly five years when she left with Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel) to travel back in 2016. Now, the soap dropped the full details as to what fans can expect upon her return.

In upcoming scenes, Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) throws the birthday card she receives from Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib). Mick finds the card in the bin and picks it up. Feeling sorry for forgetting her birthday, Mick decides to insert a £2,000 cheque on the card before handing it back to Frankie.

Unfortunately, the bribe won’t work and Frankie throws the card and the check once again. Later on Zack Hudson (James Farrar) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) join Frankie’s birthday party celebration at The Vic. When asked who Zack is, Sharon won’t hesitate and answers that he’s her half brother. Then, Nancy makes her surprising return.

EastEnders Spoilers – Welcomes Maddy Hill Back

EastEnders boss Jon Sen said, “We’re delighted to have Maddy [Hill] back and I can’t wait for audiences to see what’s in store for Nancy.”

“Maddy is a fantastic actor and we feel very lucky to have her back in Walford,” he continued.

He added that things have changed since Nancy was in Walford and the Carter family has been through a lot after she left. “There’s a lot of mystery surrounding her return.”

After leaving “EastEnders” in 2016, Hill appeared in “Casualty” as the paramedic Ruby Spark. She also appeared in “Holby City.” How does she feel now that she’s back on “EastEnders?”

In an earlier interview, Hill said, “I’m so excited to be coming back and reconnecting with all the hilarious, warm, talented cast and crew and meeting some lovely new faces.”

“I absolutely loved playing Nancy and have often wondered what she’s up to, so feel very grateful to be able to rediscover her five years on,” she added.
