Eastenders Spoilers: Gray Atkins Finally Punished In 2021, ‘The Soap Gods Never Forgive’

Eastenders spoilers reveal that Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has now taken the lives of two women. Fans have been waiting months for Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) to get justice. Now, Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) has died by the hands of Gray. However, his punishment is coming in 2021. It is teased that “the soap Gods never forgive.”

Ever since Gray and Chantelle moved to Walford with their children, fans have watched as the control and abuse got worse. There was one incident in particular when viewers thought for sure he finally killed her. She got up that time, but we had no idea what was coming. At one point, she decided it was time to leave, but Gray kept intercepting her plans.

Then came the night she died. He intentionally went out and delayed calling for help until he knew there was no chance of resuscitating her. He also arranged certain things around in the kitchen so his story would “check out.” Even though a few people are suspicious, like Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), Gray seems to have gotten away with it… for now.

Killing Tina Carter

Eastenders spoilers reveal that Tina figured out that Gray killed his wife and was going to expose him. He came after her, so she tried calling Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) for help but got his voicemail. She was still clutching the phone when Gray took her life. Fans are certain that the murder was recorded on that voicemail.

However, Tina’s death isn’t going to be reported and nobody will notice she’s gone. Unfortunately, this is because everyone thinks Gray helped Tina go on the run.

Gray Atkins Punished

According to Digital Spy, executive producer Jon Sen has spoken about 2021 storylines, one of which is Gray being punished. He acknowledged that one of the biggest soap moments of the past year was Chantelle’s death. He knows everyone wants justice and for Gray to get punished. While he wouldn’t say when that would be, Sen did hint there is a plan in place.

‘The Soap Gods Never Forgive’

Sen teased that “the soap Gods never forgive.” Eastenders spoilers for 2021 indicate there will be justice for both Chantelle and Tina.

“One of the big moments of last year was the death of Chantelle and everybody’s asking the question of when Gray will receive his comeuppance. The soap gods never forgive something like that and we need to see Gray pay, but I’m going to keep when that’ll happen close to my chest but it’s something we’ve talked about a lot.”
