DOOL Spoilers: Paulina Is Lani’s Real Mother

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Paulina is about to get de-Carvered somehow as her parentage is completely called into question. Uh-oh!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Will Lani Price’s World Be Turned Upside Down?

Paulina’s (Jackee Harry) mother, played by the legendary Marla Gibbs, arrives in Salem this week and tells her daughter not to tell Lani (Sal Stowers) a huge secret. In fact, she is shocked that Paulina would even try living in the same town as this young woman. It turns out Paulina is not Lani’s aunt. She is her real mother and that’s something Olivia, Paulina’s mother, never wants Lani to know.

We are not sure how Paulina gave birth to a child who ended up with her sister Tamara (Marilyn McCoo) and we are not sure who her real father is — and we are certainly not sure why Tamara would tell Lani that Abe (James Reynolds) was her father when she knew she is not really her mother. Or does she not know that fact, adding more mystery to the story?

DOOL Spoilers – When Lani Price First Arrived In Salem

After Lani first came to work for the Salem PD, she quickly revealed to Abe Carver that her mother was his ex, Tamara Price, who was also Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) old college roommate. Abe and Tamara had an affair and apparently that affair resulted in Lani and Tamara never bothered mentioning to Abe that he had a daughter.

Since 2015, Abe and Lani have grown as close as any father-daughter duo could be and fans have loved her as part of the Carver family, but now it looks like Days of Our Lives might change everything for Lani, as well as for Abe. For what purpose, we cannot be sure.

This is sure to turn Lani’s entire life upside down because she sees herself as a Carver and has formed bonds with Abe and Theo (Cameron Johnson). If someone else is her father and she learns Paulina is her mother, things can get awfully dicey in her life. At least she has a support system in Eli (Lamon Archey) and the Horton family if she is not allowed to remain a Carver. Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives weekdays to see how this story plays out.
