DOOL Spoilers: EJ and Xander Make Strange Bedfellows

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, August 23, 2021, reveal Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) seem to have reversed the time-space continuum and are now married and together right after the ceremony, which was supposed to happen last summer until Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) got in the way, blowing up the church and kidnapping Ben Weston in a deranged revenge plot. (Can you even blame her for the anger? Ben did kill her only child for no real reason.)

On Monday, Cin fans get the treat of seeing them revel in their happiness and make up for lost time. Do they do this with family and friends around them — or all alone with their own special celebration?

EJ DiMera and Xander Kiriakis Make Strange Bedfellows

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) has been a busy, busy bee since returning to Salem, all cured from what ailed him while he was dead and recovering from surgery and burns. In fact, his recovery seems quite miraculous indeed. What also seems miraculous is the fact that he teams up with Xander Paul Telfer).

What could these two men have in common besides them both having slept with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and both having a devious and ruthless streak? This could get very interesting indeed. Does EJ want to hire Xander to do some dirty work he doesn’t want to do himself? Xander can’t camp out at the Horton house forever, right?

He needs a job and maybe EJ is willing to supply him with one. Or maybe he should stay where he is as Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is becoming suspicious of Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

EJ and Nicole Team Up

Sami revealed Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) affair with Xander (Paul Telfer), so Nicole revealed Sami’s affair with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and now everyone is single again. And Sami is even missing! So, EJ turns to Nicole for help, but what does he need help with? Does he want her to convince Johnny to join DiMera Enterprises? Does Nicole even have any control over EJ’s kid? Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) go on their first date on Monday and everything seems to be going wonderfully.
