It looks like Lucifer makes his way back into Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) body because MarDevil is back and when Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) needs a shoulder to cry on, she has The Devil and doesn’t even know it.

Chanel still can’t believe her mother asked Lani (Sal Stowers) to be her maid of honor and not her. She’s her daughter after all and not Lani. MarDevil finds this all to be hilarious and not-so-accidentally drops a bomb on Chanel. It turns out Paulina (Jackee Harry) is Lani’s mother — and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is not her father.

Poor Chanel can barely believe her ears and that her mother would marry Abe with this massive secret between them. Never mind the secret she kept from both of her daughters all these years. MarDevil will feign guilt for spilling and beg Chanel to keep this news between them knowing it will only make Chanel even more determined to get the truth out before her mother goes ahead with this wedding.

DOOL Spoilers – Lani Price And Abe Carver’s Hearts Are Broken

Chanel walks into the church, all ready to ruin the wedding and blurt it all out and causes quite a scene. Paulina knows exactly the kind of trouble she is about to be in but Lani and Abe are completely confused. When Chanel can’t seem to spit out the truth, MarDevil blurts it out and lives are shattered in an instant.

Abe really did think he found the perfect woman to spend the rest of his life with and it turns out she’s been lying to him every minute they’ve been together. Meanwhile, Lani realizes her entire life has been a lie. She never had any idea who her mother was this entire time and it would make sense for Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) to come back and explain all. But this also means that Abe is not her father and Lani needs to know why Tamara would make her believe that he was.
