With Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) out of his life (for now), EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) has had his sights set on Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) but has hardly admitted that to himself. Still, the two have been working with one another to reach their own personal goals and have grown close again. After all, they once seemed to be very much in love and had a whole lot of chemistry.

When EJ tries to take things a little further with Nicole and she rebuffs him, he realizes she’s hung up on someone else and that someone else is Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). When EJ confronts her about it, will Nicole fess up or try to deny her feelings by dating EJ?

All hell breaks loose once again in the Kiriakis mansion when Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) gets a sneaking suspicion that Jake DiMera (Stefan DiMera) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) are up to no good.

This takes his mind off Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) long enough for Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to make inroads with Chloe by making a grand gesture. Will this solidify things for a fickle Chloe and tell her that she belongs with Philip and not Brady? After all, he seems much more interested in Titan and Basic Black than he does her.
