Demon babies are a popular topic in the horror movie genre. In many of those cases, the pregnancy is unusual. Sometimes, doctors will tell the expectant parents that their baby is due much earlier than they thought. The devil is impatient and he’s not going to want to wait nine months for a baby that he reportedly “needs.” He’s going to want to speed that up.

However, Ben and Ciara were just reunited. Ciara was with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) before that, but the two were not intimate. So, the timing might not make sense. Plus, there is modern technology, which will allow Ciara to “see” her baby via sonogram. Ultrasound images are pretty scary to begin with unless you know exactly what you are looking at. When Ben and Ciara see their child, they might not see a blessing from God… but of a curse that could destroy humanity forever. What will they do when they see the devil instead of an angel?
