Now that the mystery-solving, save-the-world part of their honeymoon is over, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) finally get to visit New Orleans’ Oak Alley Plantation and enjoy true romance rather than time with Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) and an orgy.

Longtime Days of Our Lives fans will remember that in 1984, Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) traveled to New Orleans and made love for the first time at the Oak Alley Plantation. They even staged a wedding where they recited their vows a year before they really got married in a wedding thrown by the actual Queen of England.

Ben and Ciara aren’t exactly on location like Bo and Hope were (this isn’t the time of big 80s soap budgets anymore, after all), but they still make a great time of it and make their own memories. This is a day Cin fans will certainly remember for a long time to come.
