DOOL spoilers reveal that McLean posted a video on TikTok. It was of him announcing he would be appearing in the NBC soap. He showed Burbank Studios and dropped some iconic Days names, such as Bo Brady (formerly Peter Reckell), Hope Brady (formerly Kristian Alfonso) and Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols). McLean was at the studios, so we assume he has already filmed the “driver” scenes. That will put his appearance on our television screens toward the end of the year. The pandemic has changed the production schedule, but one source estimates it around November.

At the time, it was speculated that the driver could be behind the wheel of a limo or taxi. A wedding, trip to the airport or even Sarah Horton’s (formerly Linsey Godfrey) return were possibilities thrown out there. Some fans believe that McLean wasn’t just name-dropping well-known characters from the soap. It is possible that the “driver” could be taking Hope back to Salem if the character is recast. The soap loves to create mayhem during the holidays for the characters. McLean’s exact air date isn’t known yet. However, it is expected to be around November, which means it could be close to Thanksgiving. Drama always steps up during those times. We have to wonder why the driver at the prison will be seen on-screen, though. Prison scenes usually don’t show the outside of the building or any drivers. Could it indicate that a villain escapes, such as Clyde Weston (James Read) or Orpheus (George DelHoyo)?
