Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) needs to ensure Vivian (Linda Dano) keeps her mouth shut about Susan impersonating her in prison so she has to somehow break up Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake (Brandon Barash). After all, Vivian can’t have her precious Jacob be with her mortal enemy, Kate Roberts.

So, Kristen does what she does best lately and dons a mask that looks just like Kate. Then, she breaks some harsh news to Jake to ruin their relationship. But what does Kristen do with Kate? Does she end up in a box heading straight where Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is?

Vivian said that sounds like a good idea to her and Kristen has to do everything she can to keep Brady (Eric Martsolf) away from Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). She has no idea Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is doing her bidding for her, thanks to a scheming Sami (Alison Sweeney).

Theo (Cameron Johnson) knows Ciara (Victoria Konefal) would want to be with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and not him if she could just remember the last few years of her life. But that doesn’t stop her from agreeing to take Ciara back to South Africa with him.

He also has to say quite a few tender goodbyes. Abe (James Reynolds) will miss his son again and Theo can’t forget to bid farewell to Lani (Sal Stowers), Eli (Lamon Archey), and his brand-new niece and nephew. Will any of them talk him out of making a mistake with Ciara?

Chanel (Precious Way) and Xander (Paul Telfer) now realize the other isn’t rich like they had believed. They just have rich relatives sustaining them. So, why not run a scam to bilk Paulina (Jackee Harry) out of some of her cash? This brings these two newlyweds closer together.
