Days of our Lives spoilers (DOOL) reveal that Jay Kenneth Johnson has been a fan fave in Salem as Philip Kiriakis for more than 20 years. The character is back in the thick of things as he tries to be a part of the family business Titan Industries.

According to Johnson he has fond memories of Philip and Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) long ago romance. Will they find love again in the present day? Of this possibility the handsome and talented actor said, “I hope we still have it. I’m sure we do. It’s always been easy and a lot of fun working with her.”

That certainly sounds like something is about to happen between the two characters, doesn’t it?

Johnson also spilled on the mess Philip is currently in due to his entanglement with the Vitali crime family. Not only is his life in danger, but he has placed others in danger as well.

Does he think that things will be different for Philip this time around?

He said, “It feels about the same. He’s been messed over. Something happened a few years back. He came back to Salem with a plan to take hold of this dad’s company, the family’s company. He’d been eyeing that.”

DOOL Spoilers – What Will Philip Kiriakis Do Next?

Fans are enjoying Philip’s storyline rivalry with his cousin Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). What’s not for fans to like when a couple of soap hunks share the screen?

But all is not fun and games between these two, and Xander has been a thorn in Philip’s side.

Johnson said that he’s also happy to be playing out the drama between the Kiriakis men. According to him, he has had a good time sharing scenes with his infamous onscreen relative.

He said “There’s good energy to work with. [Paul and I] talked a little bit and worked on our scenes together off set.”
