DOOL spoilers reveal that Gabi and Jake butted heads for a while in the beginning. Despite not liking his personality or mechanic job, she was drawn to him because he was the spitting image of her late husband, Stefan DiMera (also played by Brandon Barash). Eventually, Jake and Gabi began to bond and even hit the sheets a few times. When Gabi started to develop feelings for him, she had to leave to hide from Eduardo Hernandez’s (A Martinez) murderous associates.

When Gabi came back, she was shocked that Jake moved on with Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow). She is determined to get him back, but also wants success in the business world.

He doesn’t want to mess up in his first week as the CEO, especially considering the volatile history between Gabi and the DiMera family. What he really wants to do is get an experienced executive to look at the proposal. He needs some reassurance that everything is legit.

Gabi’s proposal most likely is pretty straightforward, but she’s not just there for business. She wants Jake back and can’t stand that he’s with Kate. Gabi will use the business deal in order to get closer to Jake. She is a manipulative multi-tasker, though.
