Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Kate Roberts Continues Her Game

Jake (Brandon Barash) promised Gabi (Camila Banus) they’d be together knowing Kate (Lauren Koslow) never really broke up with him. It was really Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) in a Kate mask that did that deed. Jake even thinks Kate is blind and feels for her, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do and this man needs to break up with Kate — and fast.

Too bad Kate has other things in mind and she’s not going to make it so easy for the man who fell into bed with another woman the minute he mistakenly believed they were true.

DOOL Spoilers – Jake Lambert Tries To Break It Gently

Jake visits the allegedly blind Kate in the hospital and fills her in on everything she pretends to have forgotten. She puts on a great act and even tells Jake she forgives him and acts as she assumes now that Jake knows the truth he will just stay with her. What Kate is really counting on is Jake staying with her out of guilt. Yes, he did jump into bed with Gabi awfully fast but she is not blind and remembers everything, so Jake is really falling for quite a con here.

And that’s because Jake just can’t do it. He doesn’t have the heart to truly break up with Kate, not when she loves him so and has gone through so much — and in his mind, is still going through so much. Yes, Kate did go through a lot thanks to Kristen, but she came through it just fine and apparently more manipulative than ever.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Is Furious

When Jake leaves the hospital and tells Gabi he never managed to break up with Kate, she is seething. She has very little patience left and has been waiting to get Kate out of the way ever since she first returned to Salem and saw them in bed together at Jake’s garage.

Jake begs her to give him a little more time and he will do it. He just couldn’t bring himself to be that straight with Kate when she was suffering.
