DOOL spoilers reveal that Jack and Gwen get the results of their DNA test, which confirm the two are father and daughter. Instead of feeling vindicated by the results, Gwen continues expressing her anger. Jack thinks about all the things that Gwen has done to his family, but especially Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). He finally has heard enough of Gwen’s ranting and bluntly asks her how much it will cost to make her go away. Being paid off is a sore subject for Gwen and she slaps Jack across the face before stomping off.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jack can’t believe what he is hearing. He never knew that Gwen existed and if he had he would have done the right thing. According to Ashford’s interview with Soap Opera Digest, Jack blows up at Laura. How dare she keep something as important as a baby from him. How could she keep it a secret from him for decades? How was it okay in Laura’s mind to pay off Tiffany and order her to take the baby and disappear forever?

Jack is also furious that Laura told this information to others first. This was his life that she messed with, yet somehow he’s the last to know.

After exploding and realizing that Abigail being targeted by Gwen is Laura’s fault, he begins to think about how Gwen must have felt growing up. He starts to understand why the young woman is so angry. He doesn’t excuse her rage or the cruel things she has done, but he does begin to empathize with Gwen. Suddenly, he feels compelled to reach out to her, but will she care that he really didn’t know about her? Will it convince her to stop trying to destroy Abigail’s life?
