You don’t even have to imagine those two wonderful accents together as Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) finally had scenes together on Friday and we saw the sparks. Xander was very curious about what she was doing at his buddy Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) house and was surprised to learn that Gwen is Jack’s long-lost daughter and she lives there.
Well, Xander also needs a place to stay, and although Jack is hesitant at first, he agrees to let Xander move in, much to Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) chagrin on Days of Our Lives. After all, she doesn’t want the girl there who tried to cause so much trouble for Abigail (Marci Miller). She even caused Abby’s latest stint in a mental institution as a result of Gwen drugging her. Those drugs caused Abby to hallucinate.
It turns out spending all that time together under one roof will lead to something. The banter flies, the sparks fly, and Xander seems to be moving on yet again. The Days of Our Lives spoilers summer preview promo reveals some passionate moments between Gwen and Xander that seem a little too much for the Horton House. Maybe they need to take things to the Salem Inn.
We all know Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) still out there and did not really break up with Xander. She wanted to marry him and is still in love with him but Xander doesn’t know that. Odds are Sarah will return and want to pick up where they left off. Will she be able to forgive all the flings Xander has had? And is this a fling?
Might Xander and Gwen truly fall for one another? They’re both two lost souls with devious sides and these amazing accents that just work so well together. Might fan one day think “Sarah, who?” or will Gwen not be the one people start rooting for? After all, maybe Sarah found herself a man on that DiMera island. We all know she couldn’t be alone for long — just like Xander.
