Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Deidre Hall Loves Being Twice Possessed

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the devil is back in Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and fans are having a hoot with the wacky storyline. There are some detractors, but overall many DOOL fans love the cuckoo storyline especially with All Hallow’s Eve looming. Hall is one of the plot’s biggest fans and she recently spilled the tea about her character being twice possessed.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Deidre Hall Plays Marlena Evans

Hall spoke to Soap Opera Digest about her character’s second possession. The first time around Marlena was possessed in 1994-5. What did she think when told about a second coming? “Oh we’ve sort of been here …” she thought to herself. That is true, but once she saw how the plot would unfold she was on board. She calls Ron Carlivati’s storytelling “rich” and especially likes having veteran actor Bill Hayes involved.

For those who haven’t heard, the plot kicked off with his character Doug being the possessed one. Initially it looked like he had dementia but there was no doubt he was possessed when he called his beloved wife a “bitch.”

“I’m very personally close to Bill,” she relates, calling him her “hero.” Evans has fond memories of Bill and his wife Susan Seaforth Hayes who plays his onscreen wife Julie. “They both work so incredibly hard on their scenes,” she adds.

According to Evans, once Doc gives herself over to the devil completely, Marlena becomes so mean and hurtful she actually scares people. Luckily John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is on the case, and he’s not about to watch as Marlena gets up to mischief.

It’s hard to imagine how her character tops encouraging Cin to have a baby and keeping Doug institutionalized. Yet MarDevil has indeed convinced Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to make a baby with brunette vixen Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and plans to possess it!

“So many people have not seen the original possession … it was a long, long time ago. This is not your grandmother’s possession,” she adds. Oh my, if the devil is in the details, we can’t wait to see how this plays out!
