Sure, he’s reformed and is no longer a threat. However, his past is difficult for some fans to forget. Carlivati teased that Ben and Ciara are still endgame. However, when Ciara finally remembers her love story and marriage, Ben might have already moved on.

A future love triangle between Ben, Claire, and Ciara seem to be confirmed by the head writer. He teased to the magazine ahead of May Sweeps that if Ben turns to Claire, that it will lead to some complications. Carlivati suggested that fans be patient and to keep the faith in “Cin.”

So, that seems to indicate that Ciara will come back and remember Ben. However, he could be in a relationship with Claire. They might even be married and/or have children by that time. In any case, Ben will be forced to make a choice between two women he loves. According to Carlivati’s advice, it sounds like Ben and Ciara will once again find their way back into each other’s arms.

Unfortunately, this means that Claire loses to her aunt just like she always does. It will also leave her brokenhearted once again. Perhaps there will be someone they can bring on board that will heal Claire’s heart… and hopefully, he will actually be a decent person. We certainly don’t need another Charlie Dale (Mike Manning)!
