DOOL spoilers reveal that Ciara was finally rescued after several months of being held captive. Now that Ben has found his wife alive and gotten her to the hospital, he is dealing with another blow. She doesn’t remember anything after 2018 and only knows Ben as the Necktie Killer. She doesn’t recognize him as her husband and doesn’t remember their love story.

About two weeks ago, Wilson spoke to Soap Opera Digest about saving Ciara. At the time, there wasn’t even a hint of an amnesia storyline. The actor teased that no matter what happens and the obstacles that get thrown at “Cin,” they always overcome.

“Brace yourselves, because the strong survive. We’ve seen everything happen to this couple 10 times over, so know they are always going to find each other through the mess.”

However, we have to be prepared for the possibility of Ciara never remembering her love for Ben. Before you get too upset, there is a way around that and it might be even better than the first love story.

There have been soap couples throughout the decades that have gone through many obstacles. The message is always ultimately that love wins in the end. So, how will “Cin” win if Ciara doesn’t remember loving Ben? It is possible that they will have a new love story. Sure, Ciara only knows her husband as the Necktie Killer right now. Over the next few weeks or perhaps months, Ciara may start to see Ben in a new light. If so, it could set the stage for a brand new love story, perhaps an even better one than the original story.
