Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Pabe hits a roadblock once Honest Abe (James Reynolds) discovers his paramour Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) vain and dastardly secret.

And it’s a shame since these two had sizzle and a ton of potential. But hoodwinking the mayor into a dirty deal in the town of Salem will not fly!

Reynolds recently spilled all the dish about his character’s disappointment when he learns what Paulina has been up to. What is Abe’s reaction and is there any hope for this mismatched pair?

First of all, the town is shocked to discover that Paulina is not planning on putting a bunch of little boutique shops in Horton Square. Many fans have figured out that a big box store is in her sights, based on the drawings that her pugnacious daughter Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) found while her mom was gone one day.

How will the residents feel about being hoodwinked? The real outrage will come from Abe and Chanel, at first anyway. Poor Chanel had set her eyes on a bakery titled Little Bits. That isn’t going to happen and will it be enough to revert the crab apple back to form?

DOOL Spoilers – Paulina Price Pulls A Doozy

Abe will also be steamed: “He finds out that she has used Abe, basically, as the go-between between her and the city in order to get certain tax breaks and zoning breaks,” Reynolds notes.

He forgot to say that Abe and Paulina have taken their relationship to the moon and back, which will result in insult to injury when he has his revelation.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What Happens Next In Salem?

Will Abe relent? As the actor notes, “Abe has a very soft heart. But he explodes when he has been wronged.”

He adds that the mayor’s political career could be over as well as his hot romance. This doesn’t look good for Abe at all!

And it’s a shame since it has taken eons for the show to give this vital and vibrant character a love interest. Fans thought for a while there that he and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) might spark, but that went nowhere.

Can Pabe recover from this deception? Paulina will have to be the one to back down from her vanity project titled, get this, Price Town, in order for it to happen!
