Days of Our Lives (DOOL): A Very Salem Christmas recently debuted on Peacock. However, the Christmas special is not what any days fan would call must-see tv. This fan was left simply shaking her head.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – More Like A Nightmare

Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas was more like a nightmare than a Christmas story. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) being paired with Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) was an insult to every woman who has ever been raped or abused in any form. Of course, this should not come as a surprise considering the staggering amount of sexual assault cases written on other soaps by him. Why any fan would want to see Gabi back with Nick is beyond me. It was disgusting seeing Gabi all googly-eyed over the man she killed. Gabi and Nick should have never been visited again and is frankly sickening to some fans who have dealt with these issues. Nick did not belong in the show at all.

DOOL Spoilers – Roman Brady Dead

Days of Our Lives Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was dead and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) running the pub. Sami has never been a cook at the pub and her running it was completely out there. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) pining for John Black (Drake Hogestyn) while he is with Kristen Dimera (Eileen Davidson). Brady Black begging for Kristen’s attention while she’s with his dad. Sami found out years later that Sydney Dimera (Evelyn Stephenson) is her daughter and Sami and E.J. Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel) still grieving over that child that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) gave Sami was terrible.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Christmas Fund Raiser

The Days of Our Lives cast having to have a fundraiser to save Horton Square from Paulina Price’s (Jackee’ Harry) Cruella Deville type character was a bit much as well. The fundraiser turned out to be a knockoff of the Nurse’s Ball from another popular soap opera. The Magic Santa’s had a strikingly similar appearance to Magic Milo and that Magic Wands. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) switching their partners without even informing the guys they weren’t happy with them was completely ridiculous. The Christmas show was very disappointing. One would have hoped that the Christmas episode would deal with the devil finally leaving Salem and things getting back to normal in Salem.

A Very Salem Christmas was not true to Salem at all. Salem’s Christmas with the Horton family tree will be much more of what a Salem Christmas should be. Let’s get on with banishing the devil.
