The role of EJ DiMera has been recast. The character was last played by James Scott, before being killed off in 2014.

Reports of his death were premature however and EJ was found alive in 2018. The role has reportedly been recast with Dan Feuerriegel.

The EJ recast is welcome news for legions of fans who have been waiting and wondering when Elvis Jr. would reenter the building.

At this point in time both his wife and his sister are back in Salem and stirring up heaps of trouble and hopefully he can steer both clear of more angst. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) confessed to killing evil Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) before she recanted her story. She is free now but it is just a matter of time until she steps in it again.

EJ’s sister Kristen is also in the weeds, and seemingly was never very serious about giving up a life of crime even though she came close to becoming a nun.

Right now she is pulling a con with Susan Banks and the two have traded places, with Susan now in jail and Kristen roaming and menacing the streets of Salem. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), bless his handsome face but dimwitted brain, is none the wiser even though he has had plenty of time to put two and two together.
