Days Of Our Lives Comings And Goings: A Newbie Debuts, A Rapper Checks In and A Doctor Departs Salem

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of February 8, 2021 tease that there are some dramatic comings and goings to report. Salem has been a hotbed of activity the last few days and weeks and that is not about to change anytime soon.

Especially since it is February Sweeps and DOOL is bringing out the big guns and over the top plots to keep viewers coming back for more. Who is leaving and who is coming to Salem? Let’s find out Salemites!

Days of our Lives Spoilers – A Newbie Character Debuts

Hot on the heels of news that the incomparable Jackee Harry is joining the cast comes the sizzling news that her family is already growing. Not much is known about what type of character Harry will bring to the canvas but we do know she plays an enigmatic lady named Paulina.

The news now is that Paulina has a daughter named Chanel and that actress Precious Way has been cast in the role. Look for the mother-daughter duo to arrive in Salem next month.

A New Family is Coming to Salem

Way’s credits include a role opposite rapper MC Lyte in Partners in Rhyme, an upcoming sitcom on AMC Networks’ streamer UMC. She herself is an accomplished rapper, with the hit Watch Me Go.

Given this scintillating information, what are the chances that Chanel will sing in Salem? There have been a few attempts to go that route in the recent past, and now that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is in town again, perhaps the show will have her manage the newbie?

That is speculation at this point but we hope the show will add a musical element again soon, and with Way being a successful singer, now would seem to be the perfect time!

Fans can say a final goodbye and good riddance to Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt). What a piece of work the baby snatcher is. The bad doc has stolen or switched babies twice now. She made her final appearance on February 3.

What becomes of the Elani babies she stole and were given to Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano)? Vivian is already in love with them of course, even though she questioned diaper changes at her age.
