Chrisley Knows Best Fans Flock To Support Todd Over Georgia Tax Finding

Chrisley Knows Best fans know that Todd Chrisley faced a lot of issues with allegations about his tax. Apart from Georgia, he also faces federal charges. For a long time now, Todd attacked the former Georgia Department of Revenue employee Josh Waites. Todd always alleged that Waites exceeded his duties in trying to nail him to the wall. Well, The office of the Inspector General agreed with Todd, and many USA Network fans flocked to support him on his Instagram.

Chrisley Knows Best – The Georgia Tax Case

As Todd and Julie faced federal charges as well as those from the State of Georgia, some fans grew confused. Actually, they were two separate cases. So, even though the office of the Inspector General agrees Waites was overzealous, Todd’s not out of the woods yet. He still faces charges of tax evasion, bank fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy. During the two investigations, things worsened between his estranged daughter Lindsie and Todd. He claimed that she had something to do with the investigations.

Chrisley Knows Best fans heard that in the Georgia case, Todd went after Joshua Waites. However, along the way, he also named and shamed two other tax investigators. Well, claiming they used taxpayers’ money to visit Disney, one of them took out a lawsuit against Todd. Amy Doherty-Henize always believed that Todd just tried to smear her name. Mind you, Todd probably felt very suspicious of all of them in the department. The Inspector General’s office found a lot of rather underhanded things went on.

Many of Todd Chrisley’s fans sounded ecstatic when Todd shared the news. The office reported that Waites stepped outside the law and “committed a variety of ethical and regulatory violations.” In fact, Yahoo carried a story that revealed, “the Inspector General’s report, several matters regarding Waites’ involvement have been referred to the Office of the Attorney General for criminal prosecution.”

On Instagram, loyal followers of the Chrisley Knows Best show commented about their feelings on it. One fan wrote, “Sadly people can’t stand to see others succeed. I love your family and you bring joy to us with your stories.” Then another fan noted, a bit prematurely, considering the federal case, “See….we knew y’all paid your taxes.” More comments followed, including this one: “I’m so glad the truth came out. My family loves your family. We appreciate the amazing entertainment every week.”

The USA Network Show Goes On

Many people expected that the USA Network would drop the show after the investigations started. However, Todd managed to wrangle a renewal. That seems like something of a miracle these days. Many people still hope that he and his wife get cleared of all tax charges.
