90 Day: The Single Life Recap: Syngin Tells Tania He’s On A Dating App

As 90 Day Fiancé fans know, Syngin and Tania are supposed to have split. However, they still live together, they are still married, they have intimate relations, the works. For that reason, it is understandable that Tania was upset in Friday’s episode when Syngin told her he’s on a dating app.

It was back in October this year that Syngin and Tania officially announced their split after four years together. During their time on 90 Day Fiancé, the couple married and Syngin moved from South Africa to Connecticut to be with her.

The main problem in the relationship is that Syngin doesn’t want to have children, while Tania does. This ended up being the main reason for their split. However, until he can find a place of his own, Syngin is still living with Tania.

Obviously, as Syngin is now starring on 90 Day: The Single Life, he considers himself single and ready to mingle again. In fact, he has signed himself up on a dating app and is actively looking. However, during Friday’s episode of the discovery+ show, he decides to open up to Tania about the fact that he is now on a dating app. He feels he needs to be honest with her.

Naturally, Tania is taken aback and asks Syngin how he would feel if she was on a dating app, especially as they are not actually separated yet. This leads to him mentioning that they are not really together, but are “roommates with benefits,” which really upsets her.

In a clip from the episode, included below, Tania tells Syngin, “We’re still married, and we’re cooking together, cleaning, crying, arguing, sleeping together, having sex – that’s not roommates with benefits.”

In her confessional, Tania said, “It hurts,” adding, “We’re still married. We’re husband and wife and that’s like, what it is. Yeah, we’re in the process of separation but we’re not actually separated nor divorced yet.”

Tania wants to know if he has contacted anyone through the dating app and Syngin replies, saying an ex-co-worker had seen his profile and had messaged him, wanting to meet up for drinks. Obviously, Tania once again takes exception with this, saying it isn’t okay for him to go on a date while they are still living together.

Syngin claps back, saying, “I am unsure in this relationship, like the longer it’s taking us to break up, the more insane, the more confused I get.”

Meanwhile, Tania responds logically, saying, “It’s not the longer it takes for us to break up, it’s the longer it takes you to move out.”
