90 Day Fiance spoilers and updates tease that Yara Zaya defends herself from allegations that she’s a gold digger. The reality TV star claimed that she’s making more money than her husband, Jovi Dufren.

Fans have called Yara a gold digger several times. Many of them believed that she only tied the knot with Jovi because of his money. Some viewers called her out for her high standards, wanting to live in a $27 million penthouse, and for describing New Orleans as “dirty” and “trash.”

The Ukrainian star set the record straight in a video that was shared on September 22. In the clip, Yara answered various questions about having another child and why she chose to marry Jovi. She talked about how much money she and Jovi make. She has maintained that she has a job and she didn’t leave Ukraine for Jovi’s money.

Yara said, “there is some months that I can make three times, four times more money than Jovi is making.” She explained that she’s spending her own money whenever she makes expensive purchases like the camera equipment for her vlog. She joked that critics can continue to call her a gold-digger even if she’s not as long as they like her video.

The video was titled ‘Answer on questions, am I pregnant? Why I chose Jovi?’. It lasted for 15 minutes and 48 seconds and was uploaded on Youtube.

The couple’s marriage has started to become rocky ever since the birth of their daughter. Back in July, Jovi had a serious talk with his mother and confessed that Yara has changed drastically. In a scene on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, he described the mother of his child as boring.

But Gwen Eymard, Jovi’s mother, isn’t taking her son’s word for it. She thinks Jovi is hiding something about the real status of his marriage with Yara. She thinks that the changes Jovi is referring to are just Yara trying to be a good mom.
